The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute at London South Bank University is committed to developing the enterprise skills and capabilities of all students at LSBU. We work within and outside of the curriculum to drive our students and graduates to be innovative, whether they start a new business, work as freelancers or gain employment with a company. We are proud that this work has been recognised through LSBU winning the Times Higher Entrepreneurial University of the Year Award in 2016.

We are seeking a confident, skilled and organised professional to join the team to provide maternity cover as a Student Enterprise Manager. The Student Enterprise Manager will be responsible for supporting the ongoing development of an enterprising curriculum at LSBU, working alongside academic colleagues to embed enterprise and entrepreneurship into the curriculum across LSBU's 7 Schools. They will also lead a sector-leading programme of extra-curricular activities, including workshops, start-up programmes and events.  You will also build and maintain internal and external relationships and partnerships to enhance the student enterprise offer.

You will have a good understanding of enterprise and entrepreneurship ideally gained in the HE sector and prior experience of working with young people. You will be well-organised and be able to manage a portfolio of projects and activities. You will have the skills to work collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders and be well-organised, with a flexible approach to your work.

The post holder will contribute to the strategic development of the wider Research, Enterprise and Innovation department while working closely with other professional services, academic schools and external agencies.

Some evening work is required to cover events and occasional travel will be required to attend conferences.

Up to 12 months fixed term.
