Postdoctoral Research Associate in Bayesian Statistics and Machine Learning for Wide Area Surveillance

We are seeking to recruit an individual with an excellent background in a significant subset of the following algorithmic domains: tracking; behavioural classification; pattern-of-life analysis; anomaly detection; large-scale geospatial databases; and machine learning. The post is to support a research project related to wide area surveillance exemplified in two contexts: global maritime surveillance; urban surveillance. You should have an understanding of Bayesian statistics and machine learning as well as the software skills to transform innovative concepts into working implementations. You should have a PhD in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics or another relevant discipline and want to work in a world-leading team. The post is available from 1 August 2017 until 30 April 2018.
