Are you an experienced, proactive web application developer with good communication skills?

Come and join our enthusiastic and friendly web development and support team at the Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility [CRF], University of Edinburgh. Our team develops and supports web applications, and currently provides software contracts to 50+ clients across Europe.

In this role you will work with another developer to complete the first phase of design and development of a new Laboratory Information Management System [LIMS] web application. You will also work with our team and clients, using your development skills to help us further develop or test other projects, such as the CRF's main product, www.crfmanager.com.

This post is offered on a one year contract initially with the possibility to extend, depending on funding available. The University of Edinburgh offers excellent terms and conditions, including a generous annual leave entitlement and access to the Universities Superannuation Scheme [USS]. General staff training courses are offered through the University, and specific technical training courses can be agreed through the Edinburgh CRF where required.

This post will be based in the Western General Hospital, in Edinburgh, but may rarely involve occasional travel to sites across Edinburgh and around the UK and Ireland.

We anticipate interviews will be held in the week beginning 4th September 2017.
