We are seeking an outstanding academic researcher with a background in protein biochemistry, transciptomics e.g. RNA-Seq , cell signalling and mass spectrometry. This exceptional individual will take the lead in developing work packages directed to investigate the molecular mechanisms underpinning suppression of inflammatory signaling in hypercapnia. The researcher will be flexible, self-motivated, organised and willing to drive research output and standards in a developing laboratory. The researcher will be a team-player and help to mentor junior lab members. The successful candidate will become part of a leading laboratory in the emerging field of hypercapnia research. A dynamic, proactive and team-orientated approach, coupled with a high degree of professionalism, is essential for this post.

This position may be appointed at either UCD Post-Doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 or Level 2 depending on the relevant qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

Salary: PD1 - €34,975 - €42,181 per annum; PD2 - €39,155 - €42,630 per annum

Appointment on the above ranges will be dependent on qualifications and experience.

This appointment may be made at either UCD Post-Doctoral Research Fellow level 1 or level 2 depending on the relevant experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
