The Department of Social, Therapeutic and Community Studies are seeking to recruit an experienced Art Psychotherapist to work on its innovative, well established MA in Art Psychotherapy which is a highly successful programme with an international reputation in the field and experiential learning at its core.

You will be an art psychotherapist registered with the HCPC. You will have substantial understanding of principles and practices of Art Psychotherapy; knowledge of contemporary therapeutic practices in the public, voluntary and private sectors, and current issues relevant to Art Psychotherapy education and training in the post-compulsory sector

You will be organised with good IT skills, have considerable clinical experience as an art psychotherapist and previous experience of working in an academic environment, preferably as a lecturer and/clinical supervisor.

You will be required to teach, tutor, facilitate experiential groups, supervise placement work, and coordinate the admissions process on the programme.
