Sport, Health and Exercise Science is a growing subject area within the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Hull. The role holder will be expected to have a background in the key discipline of Sports Coaching and Performance with an interest in performance analysis, coaching pedagogy or a related area . The successful applicant will be required to teach and produce leading research in this area. You will be responsible for providing a high-quality teaching experience to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. This post will involve acting as module leader for undergraduate and postgraduate modules, the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students, including work placements, and independent research projects, and academic support tutoring. 

The availability of state-of-the-art equipment and facilities supported by dedicated technical staff provides numerous teaching and research opportunities for staff and students. You should have a good first degree and a PhD in a relevant discipline. You should have excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, a student-centred approach and have a passion for research, scholarshipand continued professional development.
