Teaching Fellow - Design

University College London - UCL Chemical Engineering

The main purpose of this role is to support this new curriculum, and in particular, to teach and assist in the coordination of the 3rd year undergraduate process design project. The role holder will also contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of a high quality curriculum, and will assist in the development of learning materials, preparing schemes of work, and maintaining records to monitor student progress, achievement, and attendance.

This post is funded for two years in the first instance.

The key skills required for the post is a first degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualifications and/or experience; process design-related knowledge in the broad field of chemical engineering but in particular related to equipment and/or mechanical design; knowledge of sustainability in a chemical engineering context; and excellent people skills and the ability to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and external partners.
