Research Fellow in Mechanical Engineering Machine Condition Monitoring, Diagnosis and Prognosis

Applications are invited for the position of Research Fellow in the School of Engineering and Sustainable Development Faculty of Technology . The post holder will support ongoing research on machine condition monitoring, fault diagnosis and prognosis/remaining useful life. This will include developing multivariate statistical process monitoring methodologies and advanced signal processing techniques to identify the presence of mechanical/process faults and predict fault evolution prognosis . There will be opportunities for engaging with academic and industrial partners.

Candidates should have a PhD in mechanical, electrical or control engineering and will be expected to have in-depth knowledge of machine learning techniques, advanced signal/data processing, multivariate statistical analysis and machine dynamics/rotor dynamics. Evidence of journal publications is essential.
