The Lincoln International Business School is undergoing expansion and development. This has resulted in significant changes to the infrastructure of the College including the appointment of a new College Director of Operations. Working with the Pro-Vice Chancellor, the post holder will be a member of the College Leadership Team and contribute to the development and implementation of an ambitious five year plan.

The successful candidate will work as part of the College Leadership Team to identify new opportunities for the University and play a pivotal role in the growth and diversification within the Colleges.

In conjunction with the Pro Vice Chancellor, the post holder will take the lead in devising and delivering the College strategy, including the annual College Plan, and long term College Strategic Plan and KPIs; responsible for the planning activities and lead on planning and the monitoring of progress, including the achievement of KPIs and targets, and the Risk Register, and on identification and monitoring of corrective actions.

The successful candidate will be expected to assume responsibility for and take proactive roles in the operational management of the Colleges, leading and line managing the top level of the professional services teams (administration and technical); liaison and coordination with central services to continuously improve administrative processes; implementing University policies and monitoring compliance; and overseeing College financial, resource, estate management and Health and Safety issues.

Our ideal candidate will have extensive managerial experience at a senior level; they will be well organised, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to work on their own initiative within the context of a senior management team with a strong sense of collective responsibility.
