Our Research and Enterprise division are pleased to advertise for a new Research Accounts Manager to join their team and play a key role in the delivery of an effective and efficient service on the post award administration of external funding. This will include supporting academic departments in their day-to-day project management, advising departments on how to maximise research income and contribution on individual grants, and ensuring compliance with University and funding body regulations in the submission of grant claims and invoices. In addition, you will use your knowledge and accountancy training across a range of activities including the provision of financial summaries, expert advice, implementation of improvements to office processes, and management reporting.

As the ideal applicant, you will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have substantial experience in a comparable role. You will be AAT qualified/Part Qualified Accountant (ICAEW,ACCA,CIMA, CIPFA) and have a strong track record of success in accounting working in a finance environment in a large or complex organisation or of providing accounting/auditing services to such an organisation. Previous supervisory experience is essential. This is an excellent career opportunity and we look forward to receiving your application.
