Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Immunoassay Laboratory

Grade 7: £31,076 - £38,183 with a discretionary range to £41,709 p.a. (pro rata for part-time)

The Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) contains world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. The NDPH Wolfson Laboratories have over 30 staff and provide core laboratory services for the large scale clinical trials and studies led by NDPH and its collaborators.

The successful applicant will provide high quality technical and academic input to the research and specialist assay team. Your main duties will involve developing projects with laboratory teams, investigators and collaborators which support the development of analytical methods suitable for large scale blood and urine-based studies and supporting the laboratory quality technical system.

To be considered for this role, you will have a relevant PhD (or nearing completion) or a postgraduate degree in a scientific area and relevant experience. You will also have experience of laboratory analytical methods, preparing research data and strong communication and time management skills.
