The Molecular Neurosciences Section of Developmental Neurosciences at the Institute of Child Health has a strong interest in gene discovery for neurological disorders of childhood, particularly for movement disorders and epilepsy. The post holder will be responsible for undertaking molecular genetic investigations, including autozygosity mapping studies, whole exome and genome sequencing analysis and laboratory-based PCR/sequencing.

This post is available for 24 months in the first instance.

The post holder will have MSc in Molecular Genetics and prior knowledge and laboratory experience of human molecular genetics.
