Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) is seeking to recruit an experienced individual to become part of the team that supports the Vice-Principal (Student Experience, Teaching and Learning, SETL) in delivering the Student Experience, Teaching, Learning and Assessment Strategy.

The main focus of the role is on coordinating the annual cycle of student surveys. The post holder will play a vital role in the promotion, delivery and analysis of surveys, and enhancement of the operational infrastructure for delivery of and reporting on surveys. They will be a key point of liaison for Schools/Institutes and Directorates.

Alongside this, they will provide high-level administrative support to QMUL’s student experience, teaching and learning (SETL) team, progressing a range of activities and initiatives relating to the SETL agenda. Notable responsibilities include supporting the groups with oversight of the institution’s Access Agreement, and progressing the business of the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) Working Group.

The post is full time and indefinite, and will primarily be based at the Mile End campus, although there are occasions when the post holder will be expected to undertake duties at other sites.

The starting salary will be in the range of £36,064 to £39,108 per annum, dependent on experience and inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days’ annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points-Based Immigration Scheme.
