We seek to recruit a Research Assistant with a background in ageing, cognition and nutrition to join an exciting new NIHR funded Global Health Programme on dementia which brings together UK researchers with teams in Tanzania, India and Malaysia. The post will involve working on a number of projects that would suit a researcher interested in gaining experience in ageing/methodological research; opportunities for undertaking a linked PhD programme may be available.

You will have a first degree in Nutrition or closely related subject and a Masters in Public Health/Epidemiology, nutrition or a relevant subject. You will demonstrate experience including statistical analysis of large epidemiological datasets, survey design, and experience of undertaking systematic reviewing and evidence synthesis.

You will have excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills, and the ability to use initiative.

The post is tenable from 1st October 2017 for 12 months in the first instance.
