Research Group Administrator: Dementia Research

Grade 5: £24,565 - £29,301 p.a. with a discretionary range to £32,004 p.a. (pro rata)

We are looking to appoint a part-time Research Group Administrator (60% FTE) for the Translational Neuroscience and Dementia Research Group headed by Professor Simon Lovestone. The post is based in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital.

This post is for a fixed-term (funded for three years).

You will act as the first point of contact for the group, managing a range of enquiries. You will take responsibility for a wide range of administrative support for the research group, including assisting in the production of presentations and papers, and in the preparation and submission of grant applications. You will organise meetings, to include video conferencing and external events.

You will be qualified to A Level standard or equivalent with previous administrative experience, ideally in a medical academic or research environment, along with excellent computer skills. The ability to manage and prioritise a varied and busy workload and work to deadlines are essential skills.
