Research Associate in Developmental Neuroscience of Disorders of Impulse and Attention

The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £32,958 to £39,324 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.

This is a Full-time position

This is a full-time, two-year post starting in October 2017. This new role will provide an enthusiastic individual with the opportunity to join a growing research team led by Professor Edmund Sonuga-Barke at the IoPPN.  The team are developing a major and exciting new line of research into the early-life neuro-developmental origins of disorders such as ADHD. There will be the opportunity to collaborate on grant submissions and publish in leading psychology journals.

This is an excellent opportunity for a postdoctoral researcher to join an innovative research collaboration and develop their research profile further. The post-holder will have experience in neuroscience methods (e.g., MRI, EEG) and be able to apply these to study young children. A demonstrated interest in ADHD and related disorders is also required. The successful candidate will need to work well in a group, have excellent organisational and research skills, and a strong track record in publications and other research outputs in their respective field.

The selection process will include competency based questions, an assessment and a panel interview.
