Lecturer in Digital Media

The School of Arts at the University of Hull encompasses the subject areas of Drama, Music, English & Creative Writing, and Screen. This role sits within the Screen subject area, which offers undergraduate and postgraduate provision in film and media studies, media production and digital design.

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching across the Screen subject area, with a primary emphasis on Digital Media provision. The role involves classroom teaching in Digital Design, which will require familiarity with games engines, and/or Adobe or 3D design products. The role-holder will also support students during their independent creative projects and work placements. An ability to also contribute to modules in Media and Cultural Studies and/or practical filmmaking would be an advantage.
