Student Recruitment Assistant

The UK Recruitment and Partnerships Team is looking for a Student Recruitment Assistant to assist with responding to enquiries, open days and events, and school and college visits. This is a part time (22.5 hours), permanent role based at our Headington campus, but with significant regional travel.

The post would make an excellent introduction to the full range of recruitment and schools liaison activities for someone wishing to begin a career in Higher Education.

The post holder will be:

  • Representing Oxford Brookes at UCAS, higher education and careers fairs
  • Delivering a range of presentations and workshops to potential students, parents, careers staff and teachers
  • Supporting the organisation of large scale events, such as open days
  • Responding to enquiries, recording student details in the CRM system, and staffing the University's Enquiry Centre at key times
  • Undertaking administrative activities that support recruitment activities

You will have:

  • Awareness of the higher education student recruitment and widening participation context
  • Experience of organising events
  • Experience of using CRM systems or databases
  • Good communication skills and experience of giving presentations to groups of students, parents and teachers

Interviews will take place on 6 September 2017.

International applicants from outside the EU will need to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK.
