The world leading Centre for Appearance Research (CAR), within the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences, is seeking to appoint a Research Associate on a fixed term, part time basis.

The Research Associate appointed to this post will join the psychology team working as part of the Cleft Collective cohort studies. Funded by The Scar Free Foundation and conducted in collaboration with the University of Bristol, the Cleft Collective is collecting data from patients and families affected by cleft lip/palate from across the UK on a longitudinal basis.

You will support data analysis and interpretation and will contribute to additional supporting studies. A good working knowledge of the analysis and interpretation of quantitative (and preferably qualitative) data is required. You will also contribute to the broader range of activities within CAR.

You will have:

  • A Masters level qualification in Psychology or a closely related field.
  • Understanding of how to conduct research using appropriate research techniques and how to implement appropriate research techniques.
