Experimental Officer

University of East Anglia - School of Psychology

We seek an Experimental Officer to assist staff with research programmes, help coordinate participant recruitment and contribute to teaching support. Applicants in any area of psychology will be considered with an emphasis on experience in quantitative and qualitative methods. The post would suit an early post-doctoral candidate interested in gaining research and teaching experience.

Formed in 2012, the School of Psychology (www.uea.ac.uk/psy) is the first new School of Psychology in a research-intensive university for over 20 years. Through substantial investment the School has cutting edge research facilities, building on a thriving BPS-recognised psychology BSc undergraduate programme.

Applicants will have a PhD or equivalent qualification or submission and award within one year of appointment and be able to satisfy all other essential criteria for the role.

This appointment will be subject to a criminal records check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

The post is available from 25 September 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter on a full time, fixed-term basis until 31 July 2018.

The University is a Bronze Athena Swan Award holder, currently working towards Silver
