St Antony’s College has an exciting opportunity for an IT Officer who will initially work as part of a team of two, providing effective, secure and efficient services and support to members of the College and its associated research centres. From October 2017, the post will transfer in to a new organisation, North Oxford Shared College Services (NOSCS), which will create a shared ICT service arrangement between Lady Margaret Hall, St Hugh’s College and St Antony’s College.

The post-holder will undertake a broad range of tasks primarily dealing with general IT enquiries and desktop support as well as contributing to IT projects. As part of NOSCS, the post-holder will contribute directly to an improved range and depth of ICT support services for three colleges and will enjoy access to broader career progression opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in IT administration and be knowledgeable about client operating systems, network and virtualisation technologies, and PC and network hardware. You will have strong customer support and teamwork skills, and enjoy problem solving. You will be motivated to provide excellent IT services and able to adapt to changing technology and approaches.

Employment will transfer from St Antony’s College into NOSCS under Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment regulations (TUPE). Further information about the transfer and the consultation process will be discussed at interview.
