Salary: £25,298 - £31,076 p.a. on Grade 6 / £32,004 p.a. on Grade 7

The School of Social Sciences at Bangor University is looking to appoint a motivated, flexible and innovative Research Project Support Officer or Research Officer (depending on experience) to contribute to the further development of the National Centre for Public Health and Wellbeing Research (NCPHWR) in Wales.

Duties will include advising and mentoring other research teams across Wales; liaising with core partners, and reaching out to wider collaborators and stakeholders across sectors to meet core objectives. For appointment to the Research Officer, the post holder will also develop a personal research profile and have research outputs.

Candidates should be educated to degree standard (or equivalent) and have previous relevant research experience in health and social sciences and / or applied clinical research skills.

The successful candidate will be expected to commence as soon as reasonably possible. The position is available on a full-time basis for a fixed-term period until March 2018.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
