Associate Lecturer in CAD Interior and Spatial Design - Part Time

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Associate Lecturer (ALs) with experience as an interior design practitioner to undertake teaching on the Interior and Spatial Design course within the Department of Art & Design at Bucks. Working as part of a committed team, you will deliver technically focused workshops and seminars in a range of software applications.

Candidates will be required to undertake preparation, teaching, assessment and moderation, and provide support to our diverse range of students. The role includes teaching across Levels 4 - 6.

Candidates must possess excellent working knowledge of using 3D CAD modelling software, such as Sketchup Pro, AutoCAD, and 3D Studio Max. A sound knowledge of 2D packages - in particular, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign would also be an advantage.

Candidates must be qualified to degree level or equivalent, possess detailed subject knowledge, and be able to communicate ideas of a complex or technical nature to students effectively using a variety of teaching methods. Ideally, you should have experience of teaching within the HE environment and possess relevant industry experience.

Salary: £41.60 per hour teaching rate, £19.14 non teaching rate
