Salary: £29,301 to £38,183 per annum.

Would you like to join WMG’s newly established Engineering Psychology group at the University of Warwick and work with both academic and industry partners?
You will have the opportunity to work on a JLR funded project on innovative in-car interventions to tackle driver sleepiness. Interventions will draw from areas such as engineering, cognitive and behavioural sciences. The project will involve a number of different methodologies, including literature reviews, focus groups, and user/ expert opinion capturing, so we will be looking for a skilled researcher with a solid background in this type of research. Previous experience in some aspect of sleep research would be a distinct advantage.
You should be qualified to PhD level in psychology (or relevant discipline), with a particular interest in automotive engineering. You will have proven research experience and well developed communication and collaboration skills to provide the interface between industry, academic partners and the project management team.
