Grade 7: £31,076 - £38,183 p.a. (pro rata)

The Faculty of Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics is seeking a fixed-term Departmental Lecturer to assume teaching and examining responsibilities for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years in the area of Phonetics and Phonology.

The post is tenable from 1 October 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter, and is non-renewable.

This role is part-time, 0.67 FTE (25.125 hours per week, on average).

The post holder will undertake the provision of lectures and classes, and tutorials, as well as coordinating the teaching of the Phonetics and Phonology paper for the undergraduate first public examination (Prelims).There may also be examining and Masters supervision duties, as well as the opportunity to undertake some research.
