Full time starting salary is normally in the range £16,350 to £17,342. With potential progression once in post to £20,430 a year.

Student Accommodation is part of the Hospitality and Accommodation Services (HAS) directorate at the University of Birmingham and it provides accommodation for over 5,000 students across 3 student villages for predominantly first year undergraduate and postgraduate students. The majority of student accommodation has been developed or refurbished over the last 10 years at an investment in excess of £100m.

The accommodation staffing team is responsible for the delivery of an efficient accommodation service to students and guests of the University of Birmingham, ensuring that excellent customer care is provided at all times.

The post holder forms part of the Night Team, providing a crucial front line service to students, conference delegates and guests throughout the year. This post holder, as part of the wider team, will be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students and visitors across the 5000 bed spaces owned by the University, whilst ensuring that excellent customer service is delivered at all times.
