Assistant Lecturer in Voice

Birmingham Conservatoire (Acting) are seeking to appoint an Assistant Lecturer in Voice (0.5 pro-rata) to join the existing Voice team, to teach across undergraduate, postgraduate and foundation acting programmes. You will be joining a highly experienced and professional team of full-time staff all of whom have worked extensively in actor-training in the drama school/HE sector as well as being actively engaged in pursuing their own professional practice and/or research interests.

 The successful candidate will be a graduate who can demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of the teaching of voice subjects to actors and other professional voice users, and will be expected to provide production voice support across a range of productions staged by undergraduate and postgraduate courses. A recognised professional qualification in voice, knowledge of current voice methodologies, and experience of professional performance are highly desirable.
