Animal Technician

We are looking for a capable and enthusiastic animal technician to join a team of dedicated staff at the BSU Hawkshead Campus. You will be a member of a team of technicians providing high quality care to RVC owned livestock (for teaching and research) held at the Biological Services Unit, at the Hawkshead Campus.  You will be expected to undertake animal husbandry and study support in the BSU. Also you will be expected to maintain excellent records, take care of equipment and maintain good housekeeping of facilities in order to provide a service for clients of the BSU.

Experience in a similar post will be useful although those applicants with no experience will be given equal consideration, since training will be given on-the-job. You will also need to have no known allergies to animals.
