Project Facilitator

University of Oxford - Clinical Trials and Research Governance (CTRG), Research Services, Headington and Oxford University Hospitals R&D

This is a rare opportunity to learn about research governance from the perspectives of both a world leading University and the NHS. The University of Oxford Clinical Trials and Research Governance (CTRG) team and the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH) Research and Development Department (R&D) teams form part of the Joint Research Office (established by the University and OUH), to bring together the central clinical research support services of both organisations. The teams provide a range of support to clinical researchers and their study teams to ensure that both organisations meet their legal responsibilities as hosts and sponsors of clinical research.

The Joint Head of CTRG and R&D requires a Project Facilitator to work closely with them on a variety of projects that may span both or either of these complex organisations. There will be many opportunities to learn about research governance whilst providing support to both teams. Someone with a keen interest in all aspects of research and with good interpersonal skill could flourish in this role.

The R&D team is based in offices in Cowley and the CTRG team in Headington. This position would involve working across both locations, along with the Head of CTRG and R&D. The position is available full- or part-time (0.8 – 1.0 FTE). For more information please call 01865 572224 to discuss the role.

Further particulars, including details of how to apply, can be obtained from the document below. Please upload a CV and supporting statement as part of your online application.

Only applications received by no later than 12.00 noon on Wednesday 23 August 2017 can be considered. Interviews are anticipated to be held in the week commencing Monday 4 September 2017.

Closing Date: 23-AUG-2017 12:00
