We are looking for an exceptional Communications Assistant to join the closely-integrated Communications team, which is responsible for corporate communications, media relations, and internal communications. You will play a key role in supporting the Communications team to engage stakeholders in Imperial’s work, and promote and protect the College’s reputation. You will support the communications team to prepare news stories, press releases, and communications materials, write and update web content, maintain institutional communications resources, monitor communications performance and impact, and provide outstanding administrative support.

You will also assist with communications projects across the wider Communications and Public Affairs Division; and help to achieve widespread understanding of the College’s mission, vision, and aims; and assist in building and maintaining the College’s brand, image, and reputation.

You will have experience of working in communications, ideally in a complex organisation, and be used to working independently and as part of team. You’ll have excellent written and editing skills, with outstanding standards of accuracy and consistency, and be able to communicate effectively with a range of audiences. You may have gained experience working in similar roles, such as Communications Assistant, Communications Coordinator, Press Assistant, Press Office Coordinator, Media Relations Assistant, Junior Communications Officer.
