The Faculty of Science and Engineering contains the Departments of Computer Science; Chemical Engineering; Electronic & Electrical Engineering; Mathematics; Mechanical Engineering and Natural Sciences.

The Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Control Engineering and Embedded Systems to its growing number of academic staff, to conduct high quality research and lecture on both its undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses.

This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and motivated person to draw on his/her skills and expertise to contribute to the development of research activity within the Department, as well as new modules and degree programmes.

You must possess a PhD in Control Engineering, Embedded Systems or a related field, or be willing to achieve one within an agreed timescale. Evidence of a potential academic research track record and an understanding of lecturing at University level are essential. You will have the capacity to work collaboratively with other colleagues.
