Bangor University have a vacancy for an experienced assessor, to perform diagnostic assessment for dyslexia and other specific learning differences on post-16 learners, including prospective and current Bangor University students. You will be a specialist with a current Assessment Practicing Certificate and experience in assessment, and will be part of a team of staff working to ensure the full inclusion of disabled students within the academic and social community.

The vacancy is for a zero hours post, where the post-holder would be paid per assessment, including write up time. This is typically six or nine hours per assessment.

Candidates should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and must be eligible to make diagnoses of Specific Learning Differences under the SpLDs Working Group’s Guidelines and have a current SpLD Assessment Practising Certificate.

The successful candidate will be expected to commence 4th September, 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter and the post is available for 1 year.
