Senior Lecturer/Senior Teaching Fellow in Human Resource Management

Contribute to the regional, national and international development of human resource management provision at one of the UK’s largest business schools. You’ll build on our successful UG and PG dedicated CIPD recognised HRM routes, as well as strong links with employers and professional bodies including CIPD and CMI. Joining Birmingham City Business School at our city-centre building, you’ll ensure an excellent student experience through the use of relevant and inspiring learning, teaching and assessment methods.

All roles will support continuing academic developments within the Department of Management, HR and Enterprise, but Senior Lecturers will already hold a Doctorate or close to completion and academic experience and will combine teaching with research and Senior Teaching Fellows will be directly involved in leading student experience initiatives with teaching. With industry and teaching experience, you’ll have delivered at a combination of undergraduate, postgraduate and/or professional levels at module and/or programme level.

CIPD membership is preferred but strong candidates who commit to working towards membership in their probationary period would be considered. A willingness to teach across the UG and PG courses is essential.

Any area of HRM will be considered but particularly useful subjects include Employee Relations, Employment Law and Employee Reward.
