Student Affairs Administrator

University of Westminster - Student Affairs Department

We are seeking 2 Student Affairs Administrators on a permanent contract to coordinate the administration, finance and appointment system of the Student Advice Service and Wellbeing Service (Counselling, Mental Health, Only Connect and Student Health).

The post holder will act as the first point of contact for students and University staff, and give general information and administer registration processes and student services related matters at the Student Support desk. The candidate will be either based in 101 New Cavendish Street or in Marylebone/Harrow.

The duties of the post include people-facing responsibilities as well as working with systems and resources; communicating with students, academics, and working well under pressure. The post holder will have the ability to use tact and discretion when working with sensitive and personal issues and will have excellent organisational and customer services skills.

There is a high emphasis on IT (Outlook - managing shared mailbox and dairy management) by supporting the implementation of new systems and updating spreadsheets as well as the coordination of the finances for the services using the Agresso financial system.

There is also a marketing aspect to the role, particularly in promoting Student Affairs Department in different Fairs, Open Days and Events at any university campus. The postholder will also maintain the Student Affairs social media profiles and work in other projects supporting the student experience.

Interviews are likely to be held around the 3rd and 4th week of September.
