Research Associate/Fellow (fixed-term)

University of Nottingham - Mathematical Sciences

Applications are invited for the above post to work with Drs Simon Preston, Karthik Bharath, and Yves van Gennip, and Prof. Michaela Mahlberg (Birmingham) on a Bloomberg-funded project entitled “Dynamic Word Embeddings". This project will deliver novel tools for the statistical analysis of vast text corpora. The main goal is to harness the power of recently introduced "word embeddings" to develop and apply new dynamic versions for studying how word meanings change over time, based on Bloomberg news data and other news archives.
