Research Associate (Qualitative Research)

GIFT-Surg is a unique cross disciplinary collaboration between engineering and clinical medicine, centred around a research project developing advanced surgical tools and novel imaging techniques to improve treatment of congenital problems in the womb. Clinical research centres are in London, Leuven, and Barcelona.

As part of the clinical application required we need to evaluate the effect and perceptions on the woman and her family consenting to fetal surgery. The postholder will help design, evaluate, and report for a study of the acceptability of the platform to the women and families. The appointment is available from 1st September and is funded for 1 year in the first instance.

We are seeking a postgraduate researcher with experience and knowledge of qualitative studies or equivalent experience to evaluate this area from a background in Nursing/Midwifery or psychology.

A relevant second language would be an advantage.
