The School of Sport & Biomedical Sciences is looking to recruit an Associate Lecturer in Anatomy & Physiology to join an enthusiastic and proactive team within the School.

Applicants must hold a good honours degree in a Sport/Biomedical subject area, a higher degree would be desirable.

A relevant teaching qualification and Membership of the Higher Education Academy, or willingness to achieve these, are also a requirement.

The key duties of the role holder will be to teach and support students on established Sport & Biomedical modules across a range of programmes including, but not limited to, Sport and Exercise Science, Sports Rehabilitation, Medical Biology. The role holder will also be expected to contribute to the delivery, development, research and administrative support of programmes within the School and associated consultancy with the Athlete Development Centre/Sport & Spinal Injuries Clinic.

The role will provide an opportunity for an early career academic to gain a wide range of experience in learning, teaching and assessment practice.
