Student Services - Fund Officer

London South Bank University - Student Support and Employment

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, organised and dedicated individual to support our Advice Team with the administration of our hardship and emergency funds.

As part of a busy team you will be responsible for all administrative tasks relating to the Student Life Centres hardship funds, including maintaining detailed records of all applications and related transactions.

You will have excellent attention to detail and be able to manage and prioritise a demanding work load. You will use excellent customer service and communication skills when dealing with application queries, liaising with students and notifying students of the outcomes of applications.

As a member of the Student Life Centre team you will support our enquiries desk by providing a supportive and knowledgeable service to students with a range of queries.

Prior knowledge of student finance and university life is beneficial, gained either through your work or your own university experience.

Some evening and weekend working will be required.

The role is term time only.
