We look to appoint an enthusiastic research assistant to work in a clinical setting. The role will be available on a full time basis until 31st March 18. The post is based in the Manchester Centre for Genomic Medicine at St. Mary’s Hospital working in the Multidisciplinary Huntington’s disease (HD) service. You will be responsible for the co-ordination of Industry-sponsored clinical trials with HD patients and will be required to undergo training in neuropsychological test administration as part of this role. You will also be expected to attend weekly out-patient clinics and assist with assessments as well as organisation of the clinics. A Class 1 or 2i honours degree in Biology, Psychology or similar health related discipline is essential. Previous experience of working with patient populations and clinical trial/research project co-ordination is desirable.
