Learning Support Tutor

An opportunity has arisen within the Faculty of Science for a full-time Learning Development Tutor. The successful candidate should have experience of delivering programmes of skills development and learning support to students on an individual or group basis. Knowledge of personal development planning is essential. 

The post holder will, in liaison with relevant professional services, provide support to students in the development of generic and specific skills relevant to the role (English language and mathematics). There will also be an emphasis on supporting students in their transition from FE to HE.
