Research Associate -Fixed Term Contract

This is an exciting opportunity to join Engineering Tomography Lab (ETL) within the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering of Bath working in collaboration with a number of EU partners.

This research is based on developing state of the art magnetic induction tomography image reconstruction software for monitoring of steel solidification in continuous casting process.

The candidate will be expected to work in close collaboration with the team members in the group as well as our international collaborators.

This post is funded by the EU Horizon 2020 for a period of up to 12 months ideally starting from November 2017.  It is full time (36.5 hours per week).

A PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant subject area is essential as is expert knowledge and excellent practical skills. Experience with tomographic imaging algorithm and computational electromagnetic is critical.

Interviews are expected to be held in September 2017.
