Lecturer in Law (Lecturer A)

University of Sussex - School of Law, Politics and Sociology/Department of Law

Sussex Law School is looking for a committed and reliable academic to join our team for a 12 month period. The appointment has been created in order to cover for a member of Faculty who has received a 12 months AHRC fellowship.

For this appointment we are looking for someone to help deliver core undergraduate teaching in common law subjects and someone who may also contribute to the teaching of the law of evidence.

This lectureship might particularly suit you if you have just finished your PhD or are returning to an academic job after a career break and wishing to further develop your academic career.

Sussex Law School is part of the School of Law, Politics and Sociology (LPS). As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons.

As we currently have an under-representation in the Department of a number of groups – in particular BAME and LGBT+ - we would particularly welcome applications from people who are members of these groups. All appointments will be made on merit.

If you have any questions about the job, please contact Professor Susan Millns, Head of Sussex Law School, at s.millns@sussex.ac.uk
