Applications are invited for the post of security officer within the security team at the College. The main purpose of the post is to ensure the provision of a safe environment for staff, students and visitors and to maintain the physical security of University buildings, property and equipment.

Duties within the role include dealing with security related incidents, patrolling and assisting in maintaining a presence within the security control office. You will also be required to provide an efficient and effective security service across campus including the College’s access control and security management systems.

It is essential that applicants have previous experience in a similar role and excellent customer services skills. Candidates should also have a clean driving licence, as team members are required to drive security vehicles, when necessary. Knowledge of fire safety and first aid is desirable but full training will be provided as will a work uniform.

The security control office provides a 24-hour service 365 days a year.

This is a full time and permanent post that is immediately available and based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
