We are a leading Sports University, voted The Times and Sunday Times Sports University of the Year in 2016. Netball is one of 9 High Performance focus sports at the university and we are pleased to be working in partnership with Team Bath Netball, hosting their Exeter based academy in 2017.

Team Bath delivers one of the finest netball programmes in the country ranging from beginners through club and student activity to our National Premier League team. In addition Team Bath is one of the ten teams that make up the Vitality Netball Superleague, the elite performance competition for national and international netball athletes. The league is a semi-professional enjoying regular Sky TV exposure and with considerable commercial potential. We are embarking on a significant step change in the delivery of our Superleague team and our netball programme as we take on responsibility on behalf of England Netball for the performance pathway across the south west, with this academy being an essential element.

We are looking for an exceptional individual to lead the delivery and management of our university netball programme and the Exeter based Team Bath Netball Academy. This part time post (0.8 FTE) is available on a two year fixed-term basis in the first instance.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated with a growth mind-set and experience of coaching performance pathway players.  We are looking for a strong team player with a minimum Level 2 UKCC Netball coaching qualification and the ability to provide a clear strategy for our university programme.  S/he will work as part of the extended Team Bath netball programme to manage and develop the Exeter Academy, which will form part of a World Class Performance Pathway Programme. The pathway will develop players for competition at NSL and within England representative sides aiming to achieve domestic and international success.
