The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) is one of the UAE's oldest and most prestigious universities. Established in 1993 by the University of Wollongong in Australia - currently ranked amongst the leading universities in the world – UOW in Dubai represents a pioneering Australian initiative in the Gulf region.
UOWD is seeking applications from candidates to fill the position of a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor in Finance to commence preferably in the upcoming Spring Semester 2018.
About the Faculty:
The Faculty of Business is the largest faculty within the University of Wollongong in Dubai. The Faculty offers undergraduate, postgraduate and postgraduate research programs in a variety of disciplines including Economics, Logistics, Quality Management, Business Management, Finance, Banking and Accounting.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To be successful in this position you must have prior experience of teaching both undergraduate and post-graduate courses in Finance, including banking investment, and Islamic Finance and Banking, PhD. in Finance or a closely related field, from a recognised university, experience teaching at undergraduate and Master’s level. Industry experience or involvement in executive education would also be beneficial.
