Enterprise Coordinator

Aston University has an exciting opportunity for an Enterprise Coordinator to support the development of enterprise and entrepreneurship opportunities at Aston University. This is a varied and interesting role, located within Research and Knowledge Exchange and the Centre for Growth. The post holder will play a pivotal role in promoting awareness and understanding of enterprise and entrepreneurship activities both internally and externally. 

We are looking for an experienced coordinator, with an understanding of Higher Education or university-business collaboration, in particular the SME sector. A strong track record in building and maintaining effective relationships, organising successful events and measuring and reporting activities against KPIs or targets is required.

The role involves working collaboratively with academics, students and businesses in our network to promote a wide range of enterprise activity, regular reporting of these activities and progress on enterprise objectives, as well as event management and cross team project support.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have proven experience in a similar coordination role and have excellent IT, communication, prioritisation and organisational skills. The ability to work with a wide range of internal and external contacts at various levels is essential. The post holder will also have a flexible approach to work including a willingness to attend networking events, some of which may be outside normal working hours. 

This post will be part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the European Social Fund (ESF).
