Part Time Post: 14.68 hours per week.

Library and Student Services wishes to recruit to the role of Learning Development Tutor within the Learning Enhancement & Support team in campus at Farnham.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and imaginative qualified teacher/s to work in partnership with the Schools to enhance learning, teaching and research, and develop new approaches to curriculum design and delivery which embrace inclusivity, utilise technology, embed employability and promote academic and information literacy.

Providing consultancy and guidance to staff and students in the specialist field of language, literacy and academic practices, you will work closely with course teams to contribute to inclusive curriculum development, and provide specialist understanding and advice about inclusive teaching, learning and assessment strategies and pedagogies. You will additionally be responsible for the embedded teaching and tutoring of students in the specialist field of language, literacy and academic practices. This teaching may take the form of co-teaching with course tutors, embedded workshops, seminars, lectures, small group sessions and 1-1 tutorials.

Working closely with course teams in order to enhance learning, you will support a wide range of courses at the Farnham Campus. A relevant teaching qualification is essential, as are excellent communication skills and teaching experience.

This role/s would suit a creative individual with initiative who enjoys interacting and collaborating with a wide range of people.

The pro rata salary for this position will be £13,981 - £16,197 per annum.
