Durham University - Durham Law School

Durham Law School is consistently ranked to be among the top five in the country, with The Times listing us 4th and the Daily Telegraph placing us 3rd in their league tables. Not only that, but as a top 40 QS World Ranked law school, our academics are at the heart of world-class research and are highly active in engaging on important issues on a national and international level. You’ll need:

  • Experience of teaching Commercial and Corporate Law to a high standard, supported by fellowship of the HEA or working towards achieving this.

  • A good first degree with a PhD in Law (or a related subject).
  • An ambitious research plan with the ability to secure funding. You will also have a track record of producing world-class research outputs that have had an impact beyond your institution.
  • Good communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor PhD students and guide research groups.
