Project Title: POSTGRADUATE RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIP, Accounting and Taxation

Duration: Funded for 4 years (Structured PhD), full-time.

Project description: A scholarship is available in the J.E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics, NUI Galway to allow fulltime research towards a PhD degree in Accounting/Taxation.

We welcome students with an educational background in accounting, taxation or related fields such as psychology, management, information systems etc. Areas of research specialism in our discipline include:  auditing, healthcare management, innovation, management control systems, performance measurement and management, public sector financial management, and taxation.

Stipend: Scholarship includes annual stipend of up to €16,000 (deduction of PhD fees from this).

Expected start date: 1st Oct 2017
