This is a Full-time post

We are seeking a full-time Research Assistant to assist in running an ambitious new MRC-funded project to develop and evaluate Internet-delivered Cognitive Therapy (iCT) for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in adolescents.

The project has two phases: building a new iCT App in partnership with a software development company; and evaluating the new iCT App in a pilot Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT). In phase one, the role will involve close liaison with a software company and young service users to develop an appealing, age-appropriate, effective iCT App. In phase two, the post holder will assist with recruitment to the trial, setting up a data-base, data collection, data input, and conducting qualitative interviews with young people and carers.  The post holder will support the Project Manager to deliver all aspects of the project, under the direction of the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigators.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an innovative project in a fast-growing area.  The post would suit a talented psychology graduate who has experience of research and engaging service users, plus excellent data management and analysis skills.  The post holder will have an interest in developing their research skills, and knowledge of E-therapy in young people.

The selection process will include a panel interview and a data test.

Interviews are scheduled to be held on Monday 25 October 2017.

For an informal discussion to find out more about the role please contact Dr Patrick Smith / 020 7848 0506
